Co-Op Programs
Students in the co-op program are available for part-time employment, co-op terms, and full time hire upon graduation. If you’re an employer, hire top talent made up of already pre-screened students at a cost-effective rate. Grants are also available to help subsidize cost. If you’re a student, complete a paid 12-16 week work term to gain valuable experience in your field.

Innovation BC provides up to $20,000 per year of financial assistance for companies looking to utilize the co-op programs.
BC Provincial Nominee Program Tech Pilot
Offers a dedicated concierge service for employers in the tech industry so that they have the tools to access skills and talent of new Canadians, and understand the immigration process with timely and relevant information about the application process. This is an expedited immigration pathway for people with tech skills applying to be permanent Canadian residents.
National Research Council Youth Employment Program
Provides financial assistance to employers looking to hire young (15-30 yrs), highly skilled post secondary Canadian graduates.
Innovate BC Innovator Skills Initiative (ISI) Grant Program
This program provides tech-focused companies or businesses up to $5,000 per term/per employee hired from a post-secondary institution in BC.
Get Youth Working! Program
This program offers eligible youth 17-29 years of age employment counselling, job entry skills, certificate training, paid work experience, mentoring, and post-job placement support. Employers that hire and train eligible youth and provide full-time sustainable employment are eligible for a negotiated wage subsidy incentive of $2,800 per employee and may request up to $1000 to purchase additional training for newly-hired employees.
BC Employer Training Grant Program
This program helps British Columbian job seekers access the skills training needed to adapt to the changing requirements of the current labour market while also offsetting the cost for BC employers who want to invest time and money into employee training. The grant covers up to two-thirds of the cost of training an employee, up to a maximum of $10,000.
Canada Summer Jobs
This grant program provides wage subsidies to employers from not-for-profit organizations, the public-sector, and private sector organizations with 50 or fewer full-time employees, to create quality summer work experiences for young people aged 15 to 30 years.
